This is Rajah, a 13-year-old brown tabby Maine Coon mix. Rajah was rescued from neglectful owners when he was about a year old. He was malnourished, had serious untreated injuries, and almost died of a respiratory infection. For a long time, he distrusted people, and didn't purr. Now, he's purring happily. Despite a streak of diva-ism, Rajah is a big *love sponge*. He enjoys hanging out with musicians, actors and crazy artists. Rajah inspired the song "He's the Cat!", a wryly humorous look at cat ownership, featured in the musical comedy Making Necrophiliac - A Musical Comedy.
