I grew up in the country and spent hours walking around the fields, forests, swamps and bush, in any kind of weather. I drew animals and trees, and was fascinated by the tiniest critters under the microscope, to the vastness of nature and the cosmos. Yep, I was a strange kid. I don't do a lot of "just landscapes", but I like this ... as a black and white piece it has a loose, scintillating energy, and was a pleasure to paint!
