Beauregard Blake,
the Actor

(vocals, harmonica)

Prior to the first production of Making Necrophiliac, (Oct 2007, in which he played Howie the Handyman), Jim Murchison was satisfied with memories of the theatre and film, while he slogged along in a mundane existence as a civil servant. Now, he just won't get off the stage.

After his stint as Howie, Jim played Beauregard Blake, the Actor, in Feb and April 2008. He continues as Beauregard for the current show. He also shakes his booty as one of the Leather Doo-Wop Boys in the song "I Vanna Get Schpanked!", and makes a brief appearance as Desiree's Mother in "He's the Cat".

Other frippery that Jim has been associated with, include: My Bloody Valentine (Paramount Pictures), Walsh (NAC), numerous commercials and a long standing stint with the Provincial Government. He is now dedicating the rest of his life to the innovative cultural masterpiece: "Making Necrophiliac", and is looking forward to playing all the roles.

N.B. The producers wonder why Jim puts up with us. But we're very happy he's decided to stick around! His easy-going personality, versatility and boundless stage energy are a delight to work with, and he also looks good in silk pants.
