A small-town boy from Saskatchewan, Keppel soon grew tired of hollering at prairie dogs, and moved to Ottawa to holler at actors instead.
His outgoing personality put him onstage, as the SugarPlum Fairy (from "A Wet Dreams Nutcracker" at Barrymore's Music Hall) and Skronker the Redneck ("Wheel of Torture") in Ottawa and Montreal. Keppel's stage managerial credits include "The Ballad of Bad Boy Adam", and the last three productions of Making Necrophiliac. He's happy to return backstage in October, to yell at the actors some more. |
